Builder Channel Sales Manager

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Builder Channel Sales Manager to lead the development and execution of a multi-year growth strategy within the builder segment. This role is responsible for scaling commercial channel sales to achieve 20–30% market share, driving revenue, and building long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-year strategy and business plan for the builder channel.
  • Communicate strategic goals, key deliverables, and milestones effectively across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Optimize headcount and resource allocation to support scalable growth.
  • Create and manage pricing strategies and customer programs tailored to the builder segment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the builder community.
  • Drive sales performance to meet or exceed annual quotas for revenue and gross margin.
  • Analyze market trends and provide input into product development and segment-specific strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop targeted sales support materials and campaigns.
  • Maintain deep product knowledge and stay informed on industry developments.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and industry networking.
  • Prepare detailed reports on business transactions and manage expense accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM data.
  • Travel across the U.S. to engage with prospective and existing builder customers.
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) required.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional sales or marketing experience, preferably within the builder channel at a product manufacturing company.
  • Proven success in developing and managing budgets and strategic plans.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and persistent follow-up approach with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with strong administrative skills and ability to work independently or as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SaaS platforms, and vendor portal systems.
  • Ability to work within budget constraints and manage resources effectively.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on ladders as needed.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and implementation processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

The candidate would get benefits to review once to the final round of interviews.
