Customer Service Representative 3

This is a remote role with preferred locations in the vicinity of Tysons, Virginia, Richmond, Virginia, or Plano, Texas. The position requires working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services.
  • Handle and resolve complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Resolve service or billing complaints by exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills.
  • Contact customers to respond to inquiries or notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments.
  • Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, detailing inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken.
  • Assess the validity of complaints by obtaining and examining all relevant information.
  • Solicit the sale of new or additional services or products.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency with Google Platform and Google Suite is mandatory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in documenting and recording customer/client information accurately.
  • Experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5-7 years of customer service-related experience required.
  • Call center phone experience is a plus.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote with preferred locations in Tysons, Virginia, Richmond, Virginia, or Plano, Texas. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Henrico, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
