Technology Maintenance Specialist
Under general supervision, schedules and coordinates maintenance of client computers, cable structure, inventory control, and telephone installation. This position is responsible for installation and maintenance of hardware, software, and peripherals for technology functions on a day-to-day basis.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with inventory of all equipment
- Provide Help Desk Support for Windows 10, 11 and various programs
- Provide assistance with Office 365 user creation and license assigning
- Patching and terminating Cat 6
- Install computers and phones as needed for users
- Running and connecting network cables to vendors/exhibitors' booths
- Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience
- Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Associates degree from an accredited college or university and two years related experience and/or training or equivalent professional work experience preferred.

Computer Skills
- Operate a personal computer using Windows, Office and other standard office equipment.
- Expert proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
- Proficiency in desktop support and running patch cables
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy configuration
- Have experience or be familiar with Windows 10, 11
- Have experience or be familiar with Cisco network gear such as switches, routers, firewalls

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed for events.
- Have the physical ability to lift, push, pull and or move and re-position a minimum of 50 pounds generally in the form of computers, monitors, servers and other related hardware.
- Have dexterity in the use of fingers, limbs or body to operate shop or other office related equipment including tasks that may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard.
- May spend long hours walking, standing, or sitting while working.
- Be able to climb and work at extreme heights in both facilities for long periods of time.
- Visual acuity to stare at computer monitors for long periods of time.
