Sales Manager Europe

Responsible for managing and growing sales through assigned distributors across Europe, with a strong focus on expanding business in non-automotive markets.

Your Role:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the assigned account across Europe, be the Voice of the Customer within Aptiv, ensuring customer needs are represented and addressed
  • Work closely within and with the Aptiv organization to promote CS products through assigned distributors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor stakeholders to ensure alignment on growth objectives, create a proper network up to executive levels
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and penetration.
  • Drive revenue growth also in non-automotive segments in line with team goals
  • Support creation of annual sales plans and forecasts, aligned with Aptiv defined KPIs
  • Monitor performance against targets and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Support pricing strategies and negotiate commercial terms to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and margin objectives.
  • Track sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare regular reports and present insights to management.
  • Work closely with all Aptiv departments (marketing, operations, customer service, finance, etc.) to achieve operational and strategic objectives

Your Background:

  • Proven experience in sales/account management within the electronic connector industry.
  • Strong understanding of distribution channel dynamics and European market landscape.
  • Ability to develop strategic relationships and influence at multiple levels.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in Italian & English, German as optional.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe as required.
