Cable Technician

Title: Cable Technician

Length: 6 month contract with potential extension or conversion

Hours: M-F 9-5 or 4/10s.

Job Description: Looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Install Technician. Our Infrastructure team is responsible for day to day installation of servers and network equipment, structured cabling, project work and capacity management. This technician will also be involved with installation of structured cabling, management of infrastructure inventory levels, physical installation of network and server racks and/or devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with cable vendors to install, inspect and troubleshoot cabling
• Installation and maintenance of copper and fiber cable infrastructure
• Install, test and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling, including patch panels and patch cords

Job Requirements:

• May require an associate’s degree in a related area and 1-3+ years of experience in cabling
