Infrastructure Technical Writer

Our client is looking for a Technical Writer to support projects deploying satellite systems for cruise ships. Candidates must have a Technical Writing background specific to IT Infrastructure, Networking or Satellites.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years experience as a Technical Writer
2. Infrastructure/Networking background

Preferred Experience:

1. Confluence
2. MS Visio

Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:

• Create technical documentation, including user manuals, system documentation, and process documentation.
• Update and maintain existing technical documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Adhere to company documentation standards for formatting, style, and structure.
• Research to understand the technical subject matter, including IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• Maintain technical knowledge to ensure accurate and effective communication with IT teams, project managers, and subject matter experts.
• Collaborate with IT teams, project managers, and subject matter experts to gather information and produce high-quality technical documentation.
• Participate in feedback and review sessions to improve the quality of work and adhere to the company's documentation standards.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Responsible for the end to end project documentation life cycle.
