Head Of Fund Accounting Oversight & Client Services

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and visionary Head of Fund Accounting Oversight & Client Services to lead and expand our open-ended fund administration operations in Luxembourg. This is a senior leadership role where you will drive the growth and excellence of our open-ended fund administration operations while delivering exceptional client service.

Reporting to the Head of Fund Services – Open Ended, you will assume strategic ownership of our fund accounting and client services, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction. You will lead cross-functional teams, oversee client relationships at the executive level, champion innovation in service delivery and process efficiency, and act as a trusted partner to high-profile institutional clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide strategic direction for all fund accounting operation and client service delivery management within Luxembourg.
• Oversee the production, review, and sign-off of net asset value (NAV) calculations across a diverse range of fund structures, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex client and operational issues, delivering swift and effective resolutions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor to key institutional investors and stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of fund administration professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and collaboration.
• Drive process optimization, automation initiatives, and operational scalability across fund accounting, reporting and client service functions.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, regulators, and cross-border teams to maintain full compliance with Luxembourg GAAP, UCITS, RAIF and other relevant frameworks.
• Contribute to the strategic growth and development of the Luxembourg office and broader EMEA fund operations.

Requirements include:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Fund Administration or related areas, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of Luxembourg open-ended fund structures, including UCITS and alternative investment funds.
• Proven track record of successfully leading managing large teams and complex, high-value client portfolios.
• Strong technical expertise in fund accounting principles, NAV calculations, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, influence and stakeholder management skills, with experience of engaging at executive level.
• Experience working with major fund accounting systems (e.g., Paxus, Geneva, Multifonds, InvestOne) is highly desirable.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a strong advantage.
