Location: Melbourne, Brisbane

Description

We are looking for an Account Manager - Closed Ended Funds based in Melbourne or Brisbane. In this fund accounting role, you will ensure timely and accurate NAV calculations are prepared, reviewed and delivered on a monthly and quarterly basis, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with fund governing documents and regulatory procedures.

Job Specification

  • Ensure local risk management processes and procedures are in line with the Group Risk Management Framework.
  • Operational onboard new and take-on funds, ensuring everything has been prepared before the launch.
  • Review Limited Partner/Shareholder/Unitholder Allocation - includes review of Administration fees/ Management fees/ Performance Fee/ Waterfall calculations/ Claw back calculations etc.
  • Prepare and review financial statements as required annually.
  • Review capital calls and distribution calculations and notices.

Skills Required

  • 4-6 Years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial services industry – a track record in fund management or fund administration sectors.
  • An ability to work to and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills.
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance would be preferred.
  • PC skills including Word, Excel and Macros in Excel (Experience on Paxus, Efront or Yardi would be an advantage).
