Wilson National Account Manager

We know that awesome people make us a great company, and we're excited to be recruiting for a National Account Manager on a 12 month parental leave contract to commence in April.

The role reports to the National Sales Manager and Manage and will deliver exemplary sales within the Racquet Sports, Team Sports, and Golf categories. You will work cross functionally with commercial, brand, finance and operational stakeholders to deliver GTM excellence.

What's involved?

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue within the GSG channel.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key stakeholders at national and local levels.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and supply chain to ensure alignment and support for account initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with accounts, ensuring terms lead to win / win partnerships, and are aligned with our company objectives.
  • Develop the field support plan to ensure effective implementation of sales strategies and customer support activities.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management on account status, forecasts, and goals achievement.
  • Travel as needed to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events.
  • Cross functional engagement with all shared Operations departments on the Order to Cash Process; Management of Sales Tools, Finance debtors, Customer Service order books plus Inventory with Supply Chain & Warehouse Teams

So, who's keen?

We're looking for someone who is super passionate about our Wilson categories and can demonstrate the key technical benefits of our products and has personal connection to sport. Due to the nature of it being a 12 month contract, it is critical you can quickly establish strong relationships with (internal & external) customers and staff; builds wide and effective networks of contacts inside and outside the organisation. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience of sales, including national account & market development, account development & strong negotiation & planning skills
  • Retail, Lifestyle, Outdoor channel with a strong preference for hardgoods and apparel expertise
  • Proven outstanding account management skills on a National level managing 'Big Box' accounts
  • Clear understanding of how the consumer operates in an Omni channel environment.
  • Ability to commence in April on a 12 month fixed-term contract
