Order Entry
- Serve as primary point of contact by answering the phone, taking orders, quote requests, i.e. receipt of POs, missing information, lead times, order confirmation, order status including RMAs
- Create and revise quotes and sales orders from phone calls and emails and POs
- Create proforma invoices and other relevant documents with appropriate information in appropriate systems
- Resolve customer issues including what to order, when to expect their order, tracking #'s and invoices
RMA/Support
- Work with the RMA team and support to ensure RMAs are quoted quickly.
- Collaborate with Operations to guarantee timely delivery of orders.
- Partner with Engineering in GP and SF to create new products and modify existing ones.
- Assist clients, via email, on the status of their repairs.
Subscriptions
- Ensure we have the correct billing information when processing orders so that invoices are not rejected or have a delay in receiving payments to help reduce late payments
- Modify subscriptions and billing
- Research accounts, license subscription, contact details, and make phone calls and emails to customers in collaboration with Accounting, Support, and Sales
Account Support
- Participate and communicate with Operations meetings, i.e. shortages, lead times, order changes
- Contact customers to resolve addresses, parts shortages, discontinued items and replacement parts, cost center assignment, and end users
- Notify Production team of any urgent orders
- Maintain new and existing part numbers pricing and descriptions
- Maintain customer address cards
What you need to succeed:
- 3-5 years of experience in a customer service or sales setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; with the ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of Salesforce a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
