Implementation Onboarding Business Analyst
As an Implementation Onboarding Business Analyst for Amadeus Hospitality, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how our products are delivered and onboarded to customers. Working transversally across Operations Tooling, Automation, and Onboarding (OTA) teams, you will act as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
You will use strong analytical and communication skills to translate business needs into scalable processes, tooling, and onboarding solutions that improve operational efficiency and enhance the customer onboarding experience. With a strong focus on onboarding strategy, governance, and continuous improvement, this role directly contributes to reducing time-to-revenue, increasing adoption, and driving customer satisfaction across our hospitality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, goals, and success criteria;
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and shadowing sessions to deeply understand business and customer needs;
- Translate complex business challenges into clear functional and non-functional requirements;
- Partner with solution architects, developers, and product teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives;
- Validate feasibility, participate in design reviews, and provide structured feedback to stakeholders;
- Support PI planning and contribute to well-defined roadmaps;
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation, epics, features, and user stories using tools such as Jira and Confluence;
- Define acceptance criteria and prioritize backlog items based on business value;
- Facilitate alignment across onboarding, automation, tooling, training, marketing, sales, and operations teams;
- Analyze onboarding workflows and operational processes to identify opportunities for efficiency, scalability, and risk reduction;
- Support change management and the implementation of new processes;
- Design, govern, and continuously improve onboarding flows and self-onboarding models across products;
- Contribute to UX writing by creating clear, concise, and user-focused content that guides customers through onboarding;
- Design and run onboarding usability testing, UX research, and pilot programs, sharing insights with stakeholders;
- Ensure a consistent product narrative across all customer touchpoints (emails, portals, onboarding assets, training, help content);
- Develop onboarding educational content and collaborate with learning teams to enable customer self-sufficiency.
About the Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in SaaS, hospitality, or technology-driven environments;
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, process design, and translating business needs into actionable solutions;
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams;
- Familiarity with Agile or Scaled Agile environments; Scrum Master experience is a plus;
- A data-driven mindset, with interest in tracking onboarding metrics such as time-to-revenue, adoption, and customer satisfaction;
- An understanding of or strong interest in digital product onboarding platforms, UX writing, and online education strategies;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to create clear documentation and user-focused content;
