At present, Alma works with more than 23,000 traders in 10 different European countries, and acquiring new mid-market accounts on international markets is one of our main priorities. As an Account Executive Mid-Market for the Benelux market, you will not only support all traders who want to implement Alma's solutions and discover their own challenges, but you will also play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and directly contribute to the sales success of Alma. Your Main Tasks

As an Account Executive Mid-Market for the Benelux market, your main tasks are:

  • Managing the full sales cycle (both outbound and inbound) of new mid-market customers (with a turnover between €10 million and €250 million), from prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation and contract signing
  • Maintaining contacts with C-level executives, acting as a trusted advisor to guide them through their challenges and demonstrating the value of Alma's solutions
  • Representing Alma at fairs and conferences in the Benelux and Europe
  • Contributing to the optimization of internal processes to support Alma's scalability
  • Maximizing Alma's take rate by ensuring that activated merchants are fully optimized
  • Organizing and maintaining all sales activities through our CRM

About You

You are the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in similar roles (internships and apprenticeships not included), with a proven track record in B2B sales
  • Fluency in Dutch and English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with experience in negotiating and signing contracts
  • Strong sales orientation with an energetic approach
  • Excellent analytical mindset
  • Independent, curious, and proactive
  • Comfortable in a dynamic work environment
  • Well-organized with a structured approach
