Vantagepoint Implementation Project Manager - Remote Eligible

Project Manager

Alluvionic is seeking an experienced Project Manager to consult on Vantagepoint implementations for a variety of clients. The successful candidate will bring deep knowledge of Vantagepoint, experience with ERP system implementations, and proven project management expertise. This position is 99% remote (possible trips to the customer).

Contract Type: 1099 / Independent Contractor

Duration: Based on project scope

Location: Remote, with possible travel to client or company sites

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and project scope

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end Vantagepoint implementation project, from planning to deployment and stabilization.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between Alluvionic stakeholders, Deltek, and third-party vendors.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to ensure system configuration aligns with business needs.
• Oversee data migration, integrations, testing, and user acceptance processes.
• Coordinate training and change management activities to ensure a smooth transition for end users.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as needed.
• Ensure implementation meets scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives.
• Provide post-implementation support and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience leading Deltek Vantagepoint (or similar ERP) implementations.
• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in ERP/financial systems.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP or equivalent certification preferred).
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate with external vendors.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with data migration, integrations, and system testing.
• Familiarity with professional services organizations and their operational needs is a plus.
