Project Coordinator

Due to growth in the business, we are currently seeking to employ a Project Coordinator.
Job Description
The Project Coordinator will have the opportunity to work with Project Managers and their teams, participate in projects, work with hands on access to the fabrication workshop as well as have the opportunity to work on various site-based projects.
The role responsibilities include:
- Providing support to the Project Manager.
- Lead minor projects from award through to close out.
- Complete detailed methodologies and schedules.
- Evaluate pricing, quotes, and estimates from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and deliverables.
- Oversee project deliverables for site execution including Work Packs, QAQC documentation, execution methodologies and schedules.
- Coordinating procurement of materials relevant to the scope in line with budgets.
- Requesting quotes from and managing sub-contractors relevant to the project.
- Maintain, track and report on project progress and performance.
- Liaise closely with clients, and all other project staff.
- Organising packages for fabrication off site.
- Monitor fabricated items and arrange surface treatment.
- Arrange transport and recording of all items leaving the workshop.
- Liaise with the QA team to arrange inspections.
- Develop and effectively maintain a professional working relationships with both clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years exposure to steel / fabrication industry with Supervision experience (Trade background highly regarded).
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Keen eye for detail and a high standard of quality management
- Ability to read and follow engineered plans.
- Willingness to travel on an ad hoc basis and be eligible to access client sites.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal employees
