Security Officer Customer Service Patrol

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional supporting a dynamic tech and telecom location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, monitor access activity, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.32 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry points, access activity, and visitor movement while reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Complete routine reports and documentation related to incidents, patrol observations, and/or daily activity in support of Allied Universal and site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
