Security Officer Customer Service Patrol

In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, monitor access activity, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. DayTime Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry points, access activity, and visitor movement while reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Complete routine reports and documentation related to incidents, patrol observations, and/or daily activity in support of Allied Universal and site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
