Sr. Account Executive – Employee Benefits

We're seeking a Sr. Account Executive who will make a meaningful impact by delivering proactive client service, thoughtful benefits strategy, and a high-touch experience for both clients and employees.

This role supports clients by ensuring benefits programs are administered accurately, aligned with strategic objectives, and compliant with all regulatory requirements. Client Partnership & Strategy
- Build and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders including executives, HR leaders, and benefits administrators
- Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, aligning benefit programs with business objectives
- Lead ongoing client engagement, planning, and long-term strategy development
Benefit Strategy & Plan Design
- Assess client benefit programs, workforce demographics, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement
- Design and recommend benefit strategies, including fully insured and self-insured solutions
- Evaluate carriers, plan options, and coverage levels to balance cost, risk, and employee experience
Financial & Data-Driven Insights
- Analyze claims data, utilization patterns, and financial reports to identify cost drivers and trends
- Develop and present actionable insights and recommendations to clients
- Support financial modeling and reporting to guide decision-making
Cost Management & Optimization
- Implement cost containment strategies including wellness initiatives, network optimization, and utilization management
- Monitor program performance and recommend adjustments to improve outcomes and sustainability
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure client plans remain compliant with applicable regulations including ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, and COBRA
- Provide guidance on regulatory changes and their impact on benefit programs
Vendor & Carrier Management
- Negotiate and manage relationships with carriers, TPAs, and vendors
- Evaluate service delivery, pricing, and contractual terms to ensure client value
Employee Engagement & Communication
- Develop and deliver benefit communications, enrollment materials, and educational sessions
- Support open enrollment strategy and employee understanding of benefit offerings
Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate program effectiveness through benchmarking, reporting, and client feedback
- Recommend enhancements to improve performance, satisfaction, and competitive positioning
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in employee benefits consulting, brokerage, or related field with large employer clients
- Strong understanding of benefit plan design, insurance products, and underwriting principles
- Experience analyzing data and presenting insights to clients
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Preferred
- Proven ability to deliver strategic consulting and drive positive client outcomes
- Industry certifications such as CEBS, REBC, GBA, or PHR
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation: Salary range: $175,000 – $200,000 per year Eligible for performance-based bonus: Yes
