CSL Plasma Job Posting
Responsibilities:
- Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
- Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process.
- Assess self-administered health history, answer medical questions, refer to medical staff when appropriate, and perform health screening procedures.
- Perform finger stick to obtain blood sample for hematocrit and total protein levels.
- Educate new donors on therapeutic products made from donated plasma.
- Register applicant and transfer donors based on training and operational needs.
- Answer telephones and transfer calls to appropriate staff.
- Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify appropriate staff.
- Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
- Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
- Understand policies and procedures associated with hyper immune programs.
- Maintain clean and efficient work environment.
- Promote safety in all actions.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
