We are hiring a business professional with exceptional Customer Service standards to serve as a Service Account Manager. Proficiency in German is required to support the Central European Region. Responsibilities include initial interactions, coordination, and facilitation of Customer needs.

Akamai's Account Management Group serves as the primary connection between customers and Akamai's business and technical departments. This team plays a key role in enhancing the Customer Experience and ensuring operational efficiency within the Services organization.

As an Account Service Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Aligning services efforts by establishing and maintaining customer context, while accurately scoping requirements to ensure seamless business fulfillment.
  • Serving as the main contact for a Regional/Territory customer base, coordinating Akamai resources to address and escalate business concerns.
  • Acting as an escalation point for any customer-related service concerns or issues.
  • Ensuring alignment and adherence to the Customer's chosen Service and Support tier with both the Customer and within Akamai.
  • Contributing actively to Regional and Global Customer programs, achieving KPI targets for responsiveness, proactivity, quality, and compliance.
  • Ensuring continuous focus on the Customer experience and satisfaction, while representing Customer needs and expectations within Akamai.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Possess equivalent educational qualifications or relevant academic background.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both English and German at a mandatory C1 level.
  • Relevant years of years experience in a Customer-facing environment, such as relationship/client management, account management or similar.
  • Demonstrate expertise in problem-solving and troubleshooting within a geographically distributed organization.
  • Demonstrate exceptional writing, communication, and presentation abilities in a professional business context.
  • Demonstrate capability to grasp complex technical concepts effectively and efficiently.
  • Work proficiently with Excel while easily adapting to new tools.
