The Application Implementation Specialist is the subject matter expert on Advarra's software applications and workflows for the full suite of clinical research solutions. The Application Implementation Specialist understands clinical research and specializes in translating organizational needs into workflows that support operational goals and optimized use of clinical research solutions. The role serves as the primary subject matter expert for implementing customers, as well as providing guidance to internal teams, including new product commercialization.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Master complex software applications, integrations and reports and their use within the clinical research industry
Work with new customers to fully understand their current business processes and workflows while assisting with the implementation of technological solutions
Map current state workflows into new, future state application workflows using process flow charting
Develop and utilize use cases to analyze, define and document business requirements and application scenarios
Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on customer enhancement requests
Coordinate with other internal teams as necessary, to develop Statements of Work (SOWs) required to support new and implementing customers
Assist in the completion of technical RFP questions for prospective customers
Build a strong relationship with the customer project team to help ensure the success of the implementation
Provide guidance to customers on best practices for integrating Advarra technology solutions into their research operations environment.
Work closely with the implementation project manager to ensure on-time delivery of all milestones
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
3+ years' experience in healthcare technology
3+ years' proven/demonstrated experience independently navigating, configuring, and troubleshooting software settings across platforms (e.g., Outlook, Zoom, Operating System settings, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Technically savvy in exploring and adapting to new technologies
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Subject Matter Expert in eClinical solutions including eRegulatory, eSource, and eConsent
Demonstrated experience with Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMSs) and general clinical research processes
Demonstrated experience with EDC, EMR/EHR and other clinical trial information systems
Experience with integrating a CTMS to other common systems (e.g. EMR, EDC, EMPI)
Experience with operational and regulatory reporting in support of clinical research
Experience with clinical research financial operations
Excellent client communication and oral presentation skills
Physical and Mental Requirements
Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation
Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.
Learn and comprehend basic instructions
Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities

The base salary range for this role is $61,200 - $104,100. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
