Customer Development Manager (CDM) DACH Region

As our team in Switzerland and internationally grows, we are looking forward to expanding our sales with a dedicated and IT-savvy Customer Development Manager (CDM) in the DACH region. Your Role at Adfinis

As CDM, you are the first live contact of Adfinis to our potential customers, accompany them on their customer journey (frontstage) and coordinate all information, consultations, and offer documents (backstage) that the customer needs to accept an offer. Your main task is to systematically communicate with our potential customers, qualify their requests with utmost care in view of the Adfinis offer and partner products, and moderate the process of internal sizing and pricing with the customer. To achieve these goals, you work closely with the other members of the sales team and the management.

You are responsible for fast qualification and offer processes on behalf of our customers and coordinate the necessary resources as "one face to the customer". You are responsible for building new customer relationships, developing existing accounts, and systematically increasing revenue over the entire lifetime of the customer relationship through the use of up- and cross-selling techniques and renewals of existing Adfinis services.

As CDM, you maintain your own accounts, where the achieved revenues form the basis for a surcharge to your fixed salary. You report to the Chief Commerce Officer on the planned revenues and discuss the required lead flow and other resources in regular meetings and quarterly reviews.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Represent Adfinis as the first direct contact to customers in a charismatic way
  • Lead qualification from "Marketing Qualified Lead" (MQL) to "Sales Qualified Lead" (SQL)
  • Qualification and offer creation according to commercial and technical criteria in collaboration with Sales Engineers and Solution Architects
  • Reliable and sustainable achievement of sales targets
  • Presentations and consultations with regard to Adfinis services and partner products
  • Negotiation of offers, closing of deals, and coordination of handover to the delivery
  • Development of own accounts through add-ons, renewals, up-selling, and cross-selling
  • Participation in partner events and conducting company presentations
  • Planning, coordinating, and documenting all sales activities in the CRM

Qualification

What You Should Bring

  • Successfully completed vocational training with a focus on marketing and sales or business administration
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Sales Account Manager in medium-sized companies - preferably in the IT environment - and proven success in achieving sales targets
  • Basic IT knowledge and the motivation to learn new technologies and engage with technical topics
  • Experience in building new customer relationships and developing existing customers through up-selling, cross-selling, and renewals
  • Professional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in German and English; French is advantageous
  • High social competence to build sustainable partnerships with customers, sales partners, and internal colleagues as well as to motivate and integrate others
  • Good skills in coordinating workflows, tasks, and deadlines in a tight schedule
  • Willingness to travel
