Project Coordinator

At Adecco, we are proud to partner with the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) in providing critical recruitment services for the UK's Armed Forces. This new approach will, for the first time, see the Royal Navy, the British Army, and the Royal Air Force have a joint Armed Forces Recruitment Service (AFRS). Delivered through a partnership of the MOD, Serco, Adecco and a consortium of partners, this service will provide end-to-end support from candidate attraction to assessment, onboarding, and Phase 1 training.

We are recruiting for a Project Coordinator to play a critical supporting role in the implementation of the Armed Forces Recruitment Services solution. Working alongside the Senior Project Manager and Assessment Project Manager initially, you will support the delivery of multiple workstreams, ensuring project planning, documentation, communication, and co-ordination are executed effectively.

Project Delivery Support

  • Provide day-to-day support in delivering assigned project activities, including completing actions, updating trackers, and coordinating task owners.
  • Assist with the preparation of project governance updates, summaries and steering papers.
  • Help resolve operational issues by escalating to appropriate stakeholders.

Project Planning & Coordination

  • Coordinate and track progress against agreed timelines, proactively identifying risks, delays or issues.
  • Owning and managing internal administration processes, including ownership and administration of the Team's SharePoint content and records management.

Resource Logistics and Coordination

  • Book and coordinate resources such as personnel IT equipment, and materials.
  • Arrange travel, training, and/or onboarding for project staff.
  • Support procurement processes, including managing the invoice process with finance to on-board, new contractors (including payroll) and tracking deliveries.

Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Coordinate meetings, workshops and project events (agenda, logistics, materials, minutes, action follow-up).
  • Draft communications, ensuring consistent messaging across project channels.

Governance, Control & Reporting

  • Support the maintenance of project controls such as risk, issue, dependency and change logs.
  • Ensure adherence to Adecco policies, frameworks and relevant governance structures.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement within workstreams.
  • Actively contribute to lessons learned sessions and continuous improvement activity.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in project co-ordination role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient (intermediate level) with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ideally project management tools.
  • Confident interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently and take initiative.
  • Ability to interpret and work with project documentation and governance frameworks.

Additional Information

We are only able to consider candidates coming from a Defence or Government background with full or recent BPSS & Security Clearance. Sadly we are not able to consider candidates who do not have full and un-restricted UK right to work.
