IT Support Technician

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to handle and troubleshoot tier 1-3 tickets.
  • Work directly with end users on-site as well as being able to provide remote support.
  • Ability to handle hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Be a point of escalation for the desktop support team.
  • Experience supporting windows operation systems.
  • Experience with active directly, phone support, printer support, software rollouts and upgrades.
  • Work within various applications to handle tickets.
  • Trust be able to take ownership of support tickets, work through troubleshooting processes, and proactively ask questions to resolve issues.
  • A confident and self-assured approach is essential

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years of IT Support experience.
  • Have experience working within ticketing software such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Zendesk or Heat.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
  • Strong hardware knowledge.
  • Experience with Zebra printers (preferred).
  • Troubleshooting skill set is most important.
  • Associates or Bachelors in Information Technology or related study desired.
  • A+ or Net+ certification desired.
