Help Desk Support Specialist

Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid – minimum 1 days onsite per week; up to 4 days remote)

Length: 4 month contract

Target Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 / Per Hour

Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future

Position Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for hardware, software, and connectivity issues for on-site and remote staff
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user technology issues across Windows and Mac environments
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of staff, including device setup and account provisioning
  • Manage help desk tickets and maintain clear documentation of issues and resolutions
  • Perform diagnostic tests and maintenance procedures
  • Maintain asset tracking and inventory management

Skills And Experience

  • 3 -4 years of IT help desk or end-user support experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and basic Active Directory or Entra ID administration
  • Experience provisioning laptops and software
  • Strong communication skills and a service-oriented approach
  • Experience supporting Windows and MacOS operating systems
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote management tools
