Customer Service Liaison
Our client is a well-established organization within the food and consumer goods space, supporting a high-volume, fast-paced operation. They are seeking additional customer service support to assist with order processing, customer communication, and internal coordination across teams.
Addison Group is hiring a Customer Service Liaison for a short-term contract opportunity with potential to extend or convert. This role plays a key part in managing customer orders from start to finish, serving as a point of contact between customers, sales, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer orders from initial entry through final delivery confirmation
- Enter and maintain orders, contracts, and item setup within an ERP system
- Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls and emails regarding order status, shipments, pricing, documentation, and adjustments
- Coordinate freight and shipping logistics, including working with transportation systems and customers
- Prepare and review open order reports with sales representatives and customers
- Support assigned sales reps by managing accounts and addressing customer needs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with warehouse, data, and sales teams
- Assist with additional tasks as needed to support customer service operations
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of customer service experience in a product-based environment
- Experience managing full-cycle customer orders (order entry through delivery)
- Background in manufacturing or distribution strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and advanced Excel
- Hands-on experience working within an ERP system
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
