Job Description

The Claims Customer Service representative will handle customer inquiries across multiple communication channels, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses. This role involves analyzing moderately complex issues related to claims, policies, and billing, while adhering to company guidelines, industry regulations, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding claims, coverage, and related issues.
  • Provide accurate information and clear explanations to ensure customer understanding.
  • Analyze and resolve moderately complex situations by applying company policies and insurance regulations.
  • Research customer issues and follow up to ensure full resolution.
  • Maintain strong communication and documentation across multiple systems and channels.
  • Support a positive customer experience by managing multiple priorities and meeting quality, productivity, and timeliness metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address recurring issues and improve processes.
  • Adapt quickly to procedural updates, new technology, and workflow changes.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service or claims experience (insurance industry preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new systems.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
