Project Coordinator – Energy Efficiency Programs

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support energy efficiency initiatives targeting multifamily buildings in the New York City area. This role involves working closely with program staff, contractors, field personnel, and clients to facilitate projects focused on reducing gas and electric usage or advancing building electrification.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage project intake and coordinate with contractors throughout the project lifecycle
• Review energy savings calculations and inspection reports for multifamily energy efficiency projects
• Track and manage project data using proprietary software systems
• Collect and verify project documentation including equipment specs, financials, and housing qualifications
• Provide feedback to contractors based on inspection results to ensure compliance
• Monitor program milestones and reporting metrics
• Attend industry events and engage with stakeholders as needed
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams, contractors, and clients

Required qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree
• 1–2 years of experience in energy efficiency, multifamily housing, or project management
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with energy efficiency principles and technologies
• Proficiency in project management tools, spreadsheets, and workflow software
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail

Preferred qualifications include:

• Knowledge of energy-efficient gas technologies (e.g., boilers, steam systems) or electrification measures (e.g., heat pumps)
• Interest in HVAC systems and mechanical components such as chillers, cooling towers, and air handlers

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $33.65/hr.

This is a hybrid position in New York, NY.
