Project Coordinator
We are a high-end residential electrical contractor specializing in custom lighting design, smart home automation, EV-ready infrastructure, and generator installations. As we expand into a home services division, we are seeking a Project & Operations Coordinator to support both construction projects and our growing service division. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable balancing administrative tasks with client scheduling and crew coordination.
Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating job schedules, site visits, and inspections.
- Draft basic project plans using Adobe Illustrator.
- Prepare and track quotes, invoices, and expense reports in Zoho Books.
- Maintain project records, punch lists, and client correspondence.
- Schedule and dispatch electricians for service calls and maintenance visits.
- Act as the first point of contact for client service requests and ensure timely follow-up.
- Support implementation of scheduling/dispatch software and workflows.
- Provide administrative support including vendor coordination and material tracking.
- Communicate daily updates between the Owner/Master Electrician and field crews.
- Translate instructions for Spanish-speaking crew members (preferred but not required).
- Assist with SOP creation and documentation.
Essential Skills
- 1–2 years of administrative, coordination, or customer service experience.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle scheduling and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn project/accounting software such as Zoho Books.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the construction or service industry is a plus.
- Experience in construction, project coordination, and data entry.
- Familiarity with project management, Microsoft Office, and construction administration.
Work Environment
You will be working at the office in Laurel, MD. This is a 9-month contract to hire position offering medical, dental, vision benefits, and a 401(k).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
