Project Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to join our team in Titusville. In this role, you will partner with and support Project Managers to ensure that projects are initiated, planned, executed, and completed successfully on time and within budget. You will manage administrative tasks under the supervision of a project manager to facilitate the progress of deliverables across various projects, including environmental compliance, emergency response, assessment, remediation, and industrial service.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for projects throughout their lifecycle, with increasing responsibility as experience and knowledge grow.
• Assist in scheduling, stakeholder coordination, resource allocation, change control, cost control, invoicing preparation, and project closure and assessment.
• Complete various administrative tasks and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ensure every aspect of the project is completed on time.
• Foresee potential project blockers and implement solutions to mitigate or eliminate these challenges.
• Utilize Microsoft Project for project planning, Microsoft Teams for resource scheduling, and Deltek for timekeeping and accounting.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in project administration, coordination, or management.
• Experience assisting Project Managers in the construction, engineering, or environmental fields.
• Familiarity with project management and project accounting software.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, sciences, or a related area is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Interest in or pursuit of certifications such as Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
• Experience in environmental, engineering, or construction management industries is preferred.
• Experience managing internal stakeholders in a matrix model organization is beneficial.
• Certifications in a technical field are advantageous.

Work Environment

The position is primarily office-based in Titusville, with periodic site and client visits. You will join a team of five full-time professionals, including two Project Managers and three Project Coordinators, in a supportive and dynamic PMO group. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Titusville, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
