Job Description

Business Development support

Develop presentation materials as well as collate corporate and investment information for consultants, clients and prospects. Organise, attend and follow up on client meetings (prospects sourced by sales teams) with regards to data, reports, outstanding queries, presentations etc Assisting other Aberdeen sales offices with requests for data, helping with training on use of systems etc

Client servicing

Service institutional clients from Asia, and prospective institutional investors of Asian and Global Emerging Markets mandates worldwide. Prepare client reports and presentations to outline client investment activity. Meet day-to-day client requests and assist in the research and resolution of performance measurement and reporting related issues. Work with internal departments to resolve / handle client related requirements and ensure smooth implementation (eg investment guideline revisions and account top-ups/withdrawals, procedures for account closures as well as new account set up - KYC, setting up on d/bases and ensuring internal links in place for seamless service delivery and communication flow. Liaises with consultants (and other professional users / advisors) on product updates and data info.

Performance Management

Explain calculated performances in terms of the investment process, with the aid of investment analysis reports by Mellon, Statpro, Barra, Northfield and Style Research. Analyze investment data to track performance of portfolios with the help of investment applications and financial information systems such as Bloomberg, Micropal, Factset and Lipper Involved in Group's Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) project (responsible for following progress and updating Singapore)
