Sales Coordinator
The Sales Coordinator will assist the sales team by coordinating sales-related activities, ensuring the smooth running of the sales process. This position is responsible for maintaining customer relationships, managing the order process, and providing support to sales representatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has excellent communication skills.
Position Responsibilities:
- Sales Support: Assist sales representatives in preparing quotes, sales presentations, contracts, and proposals.
- Sales:
- Establish new team sales accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales.
- Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs.
- Identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Customer Service: Serve as a liaison between the sales team and customers, handling inquiries, providing information, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Order Processing: Manage the entire order cycle, from order entry to delivery, ensuring accuracy in pricing, product availability, and shipping details.
- CRM Management: Maintain and update customer databases, ensuring that all information is accurate and up to date.
- Reporting & Analytics: Prepare regular sales reports, track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and assist with data analysis to help improve sales performance. Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate meetings, calls, and appointments for the sales team. Assist in organizing and attending sales events or trade shows when required.
- Communication: Facilitate communication within the sales team and with other departments, such as marketing, logistics, and finance, to ensure alignment on strategies and goals.
- Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor stock levels and liaise with the warehouse team to ensure orders are fulfilled promptly.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as processing sales orders, preparing invoices, and tracking payments.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or complaints from customers quickly and professionally.
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
- Proven experience in sales coordination or a similar administrative role
- Strong knowledge of CRM software and MS Office
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Position Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience, preferably in Customer Service or Inside Sales in the Sports Manufacturing Industry
