Associate Production Support Analyst

The Associate Production Support Analyst is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of enterprise Power BI reporting solutions and data visualizations. This role provides day-to-day support for production dashboards and reports, troubleshoots issues related to data accuracy and performance, manages user access and security, and collaborates with business users, developers, and data teams to resolve incidents. The analyst will serve as the first line of support for Power BI production environments, ensuring timely resolution of issues, proper monitoring, and adherence to SLAs. The role requires strong technical knowledge of Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and troubleshooting skills, combined with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Skills

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Utilize basic SQL and PowerBI skills
  • Coordinate discussions with cross functional/technical teams to capture details needed for D&A jobs to seamlessly run in a Production environment
  • Monitor Power BI service, gateways, scheduled refreshes, and embedded reports to ensure availability and performance
  • Troubleshoot report performance issues, failed data refreshes, and connectivity errors.
  • Provide root cause analysis and resolution for production incidents, escalating when needed.
  • Monitor and triage D&A production incidents and service requests, including tracking SLA performance
  • Partner with business teams to understand recurring issues and recommend design or process improvements
  • Maintain documentation of environments, workflows, dependencies, and system configurations
  • Participate in scrum, backlog grooming, refinement, planning and design review sessions
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Requires 1-2 years of relevant data support experience or demonstrated experience within healthcare industry or data and analytics
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Competent in tools such has SQL, PowerBI, DAX, and Excel
  • Basic understanding of PowerBI Service/Desktop and SQL
  • Basic understanding of agile methodologies and SDLC
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team centric environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills with attention to detail

Work-at-home requirements:

  • Must have the ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable Modems for a home office.
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 30x5 (30mpbs download x 5mpbs upload) is required.
  • Latency (ping) response time lower than 80 ms
  • Hotspots, satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

The hiring range for this position is $65,736 - $83,160 USD. At G.E.H.A, the current maximum salary for this role is $92,664 USD. While initial compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications, there is a path to work toward this top rate through performance and continued growth within the organization.
