Key Account Manager Hospital
For our Business Unit Health and Medical (HM), we are looking for a Key Account Manager Hospital.
The sales organization within Essity HM consists of five sales teams: Long Term Care, Hospital, Home Care Key Account Team, and JOBST. The hospital account team focuses primarily on hospitals, hospital groups, and some distributors and is responsible for the complete product portfolio of the HM division of Essity, with the Essity wound products (dressings, compression, orthopedics) and the TENA range (incontinence care and caregiving washing).
About the Role
As a Key Account Manager, you are responsible for the operation of hospitals and hospital groups (the second-line market). Based on market and customer analyses, you develop commercial customer concepts that you translate into strategic account plans, implementation projects, and activities. You will come into contact with a wide variety of target groups within the healthcare market and work closely with other Essity colleagues. For this position, we are looking for a colleague who is able to act at a senior management level, translate information and knowledge into commercial concepts, and successfully roll them out together with colleagues and customers.
What you will do
- Prepare, execute, and monitor annual account plans.
- Research and analyze market trends, customer data, and customer needs and translate them into information and commercial concepts within your own market segments.
- Based on market and customer analysis, develop strategic account concepts and plans and implement them to achieve commercial goals.
- Prepare and monitor ongoing and new contracts and take initiative to adjust them, in line with ongoing agreements, Essity guidelines, and pricing strategy.
- Actively build and maintain contacts with relevant market parties and accounts in a complex DMU environment at various levels, in order to achieve the goals formulated in the strategic account plans.
- Initiate, steer, and manage commercial projects in the second-line market, from a sales perspective and in line with strategic plans to achieve joint customer and Essity goals.
- Actively build and maintain contacts with colleagues from the (clinical) sales teams, Customer Services, marketing, and Business Support, to achieve commercial results.
- Responsible for the financial forecast and profitability within your customer portfolio.
Who you are
- You have a completed Bachelor's/Master's degree, preferably in Commercial Economics/Business Administration, and at least 5-10 years of commercial experience, preferably within healthcare.
- You are able to act at a senior level with the main DMU members within the large distribution accounts in the healthcare market.
- You are numerically strong and analytical. You are also able to translate information into strategic concepts and commercial account plans and implement them together with the target groups.
- You are a relationship builder who easily switches between internal and external parties and is able to influence others.
- You have the ambition to develop yourself professionally in a commercial environment.
