Our Tech Procurement SME will partner with business owners (our customers) and their teams to define requirements for identified purchasing needs in the IT space such as hardware, software and IT services. They will categorize and select the best suppliers by working with external companies to gather, analyze and make recommendations to the business.
Tech Procurement SME's are responsible for the end-to-end procurement process (P2P or procure to pay) and includes: acknowledging TT, quoting, PO creation, gaining approvals, following up prior to delivery, delivery validation, and engaging with the invoice payment process where required.
In conclusion, PS will provide customer support to internal customers, and act as a liaison, resolving any issues that may arise with a contract or supplier.
