Amazon Web Services is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive to join our Public Sector team in Perth. The territory covers a portfolio of State Government customers across W.A, working on impactful projects involving AI, data, analytics, cloud and IT modernisation.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline
  • Deliver on account strategies
  • Identify and build relationships with key decision makers
  • Work with internal stakeholders and cross functional teams to create and present compelling solutions
  • Increase adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territory
  • Utilise internal resources to drive customer outcomes
  • Increase revenue across a portfolio of customers to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business
  • Challenge outdated approaches to IT
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions to customers
  • Analyze sales metrics/data from your accounts to help evolve the strategy
  • Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement
  • Build, develop and then execute on an account and territory strategy
  • Work with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunities
  • Assist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud services
  • Develop long-term strategic C-level relationships with key accounts
